Joan brings many years of leadership and people management experience to her role at Alya. With a background as a Senior Team Leader in the BPO industry, she has developed strong skills in coaching, performance management, and operational coordination. She is passionate about supporting both participants and support workers, ensuring rosters are well coordinated and services are delivered smoothly and reliably.
Joan thrives in a fast-paced environment where organisation, communication, and problem-solving are key. She is committed to building positive relationships with participants, families, and staff, recognising that thoughtful rostering plays an essential role in delivering consistent, person-centred NDIS supports. Her approachable nature and positive attitude help create a supportive experience for everyone she works with.
Outside of work, Joan enjoys cooking, discovering new restaurants and cafés, and creating content on TikTok. She loves connecting with people, brings enthusiasm to everything she does, and takes pride in making a positive impact both within the workplace and in her everyday life.
