Participant Support Officer
image 1 Group 56

Nick grew up on the Gold Coast where he shared a love of all things coastal with his siblings and dogs before moving to Brisbane to study Economics at University of QLD.

After graduating, he worked in managed fund administration alongside people with disabilities which prompted a desire for a career with a positive impact on those who need it. After training in Ipswich, he became a mental health support worker where he gained the skills to start his own business. Aiming to empower people to pursue their creative interests, Nick provided music and art lessons to NDIS participants in their homes and in conjunction with local community groups. This involved supporting people to grow in their pursuit of creative hobbies such as watercolour painting, guitar, piano and drums in order to develop self-expression, self-determination and inquisitive learning.

Nick is fun loving and always eager for a chat. On the weekends, he enjoys spending time with his friends as they go camping, to gigs and sports games
